When we are informed about important topics from a credible source, we can better consider their effect. inFormed by Data is an IPC Global Service that gathers, organizes, and publishes publicly available data from the source. This service leverages technology from AWS, Qlik, and IPC Global to tell a powerful story. IPC Global will provide insights with these datasets, whether it is healthcare, government, or any other relevant topic. Clients of IPC Global have asked us to combine these public datasets with their internal data and provide insights and attain a competitive advantage.

CMS MS-DRGs Weights and LOS

Hospital inpatient severity is measured by their average resource required (weight) and patient Length of Stay by Major Diagnosis Group such as a kidney transplant or hip replacement as defined by CMS. We analyze DRGs over time and their effect on our health system.

Georgia SoS Data Hub

To continue to provide voter transparency to Georgia voters, the media, and legislators, the GA SOS used Qlik Analytics Solution to provide real-time voter information, demographic,  and absentee update during major Georgia Elections. This app helps support Georgia's position as a leader in election security.

NFL Weekly Stats Analyzer

Quickly understand NFL team standings by looking at current and historical data. Compare your favorite running back and quarterback against their competitors. This app uses the  Qlik Data Analytics Platform to provide a fast and interactive experience.

Paycheck Protection Program

The Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) authorized the federal government to offer loans to businesses to help them retain employees during the Covid pandemic. This app uses loan, lender, and employment data together to show where PPP loans went and how many jobs they saved.

State Voting Laws

This app looks at specific aspects of voting law changes made since 2020. Many states changed their election laws in response to the COVID-19 pandemic following the 2020 election. We wanted to provide a simple way to assess these differences.

US Presidential Documents

When the President of the United States signs an Executive order, the White House sends it to the Office of the Federal Register (OFR). This App allows users to explore every executive order that has been published by the OFR since 1993.

CMS RVUs and Payments

Doctors are measured by the relative value of service (RVU) and their CMS payment for a procedure in a clinic. The value and payment vary based on locality in the US and supplemental information for a given procedure. We analyze CPT procedures over time and their effect on our health system.

Hospital Charge Transparency

This App consolidates and simplifies the hospital-provided data to provide hospital price trasparency and enable individuals to understand costs across health systems. Each hospital operating in the United States is required to provide clear, accessible pricing information online about the items and services they provide.

NY State School Graduation Rates

Compare high school graduation rates between New York State school districts, using more than a dozen different dimensions to define your own cohort. Uses publicly available data published on the NYSED.gov site.

Philadelphia School Profiles

Enabling the Philadelphia community to easily compare schools to each other, this Qlik Mash-up provides the power of data at the parents, faculty, and community leaders' fingertips enabling views to enrollment,  demographics, survey results, ALT progress reports and so much more.

US Census Explorer

Sift through the 1100+ titles of US Census Bureau titles, the geo-spacial areas they cover, and the demographic groups they detail. The bureau has online data from 1986 to current that can be pulled, processed, and published for analysis then integrated with other data sources.

VAERS Data Analyzer

Vaccine Adverse data has been collected since 1990 in the US. For each Vaccine, we can see the symptoms and outcomes reported across the US by gender, age, and state. Consider for yourself the effects a vaccine might have on you and your community.

COVID-19 Dashboard

This App pulls Johns Hopkins University's COVID-19 data analysis and visualizations and publishes state and county data daily regarding the total confirmed COVID-19 cases, deaths, vaccinations, and recovered persons COVID cases data link

Hospital OPPS

The Hospital Outpatient Prospective Payment System, or OPPS, is a payment system used by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to reimburse hospitals and other healthcare providers for the services they provide to Medicare beneficiaries in hospital outpatient departments.

PGA Masters Tournament Analyzer

This app pulled publically available data as the tournament was taking place. In this application, we used not only visualization but predictions as well as real-time emotional responses by Journalists, players, and Golf influencers through Twitter.

Qlik Accessibility Demonstrator

This app demonstrates how you can create visualizations that comply with the accessibility requirements ensure those with disabilities and special needs can use a reader to review Qlik data. The data set used here is a Twitter feeds reviewing generic search terms.

US Interest Rates

The cost of borrowing money varies based on when we borrow money and for how long (maturity). The federal reserve provides data since 1962 from which we can analyze the cost as compared to inflation, recessions, and presidents.
